Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal offers Kiran Bedi to be CM candidate in Delhi
Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal on Monday offered former IPS officer Kiran Bedi to contest in Delhi Assembly Elections with the assurance that she will be party’s chief ministerial candidate in Delhi.
Kejriwal said, “We would like Kiran Bedi to join AAP and be our chief ministerial candidate in Delhi.” Kejriwal further said an honest officer like Kiran Bedi would never join a corrupt party like the BJP.
Dr Kumar Vishvas tweeted “Although @thekiranbedi insisted to keep away frm electoral politics, AK has shown a great gesture by inviting her as AAP Delhi CM candidate”.
Kiran Bedi neither confirmed nor denied the news. “I am not interested in electoral politics and I have maintained this all throughout,” said Bedi.
