Arvind Kejriwal thanks supporters at Jantar Mantar

Thousands of AAP volunteers and supporters gathered at the Jantar Mantar road to celebrate the win of of their party candidates in the Delhi assembly elections.

The AAP supporters were seen wearing caps and holding flags, comprised of professionals, housewives, students, auto-rickshaw drivers, and NRIs. The party thanked supports and volunteers for their support and commitment that paved the way for stunning results.

The AAP declared that it will contest the Lok Sabha elections 2014, and may be Delhi Elections again. The party will also contest Haryana and Maharashtra Assembly Elections scheduled next year. “The party is looking to contest the Lok Sabha elections. We again request you to please donate generously to our party. We need donation and will open up the website from Thursday.”, Kejriwal said.

Arvind Kejriwal hinted at a possibility that poet Kumar Vishwas may contest against Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha elections 2014.

Addressing the supporters, Kejriwal said that he will go to Ralegan Siddhi tomorrow to meet Anna Hazare to extend support to Anna Hazare for his hunger strike to press for the Lokpal bill. He will honour his wish and stay away from stage. He will sit in the crowd.

Arvind Kejriwal tweeted “I wanted 2 go n meet Anna 2day but fell ill last nite. Running v high fever. But my heart is at Ralegan. But Kumar Vishwas gopal rai n sanjay singh hv gone to Ralegan. Will talk to Anna on ph when they rch there.”

Kejriwal re-iterated that the party will not ally with Congress and BJP, and will opt for re-election.
