In the meeting conducted by the Delhi unit president Bandana Kumari and general secretary Richa Pandey Mishra, it was decided to organise a AAP Ki Mahila Shakti Sammelan in Delhi in the month of September. The meeting was also attended by the AAP’s Delhi state unit leadership.

The responsibility to prepare for this conference has been given to the 14 incharges at the district level. The organization has made 14 phone numbers available to increase the registration of women in each Vidhan Sabha constituency of Delhi. Those willing to become members can respond on these numbers through SMS.

The AAP Ki Mahila Shakti page is now connected to the AAP official website and other social media platforms (Facebook and twitter) have also been activated by its name.

This organization will conduct monthly seminars at the state level and routine activities at the ward level that will deal with women’s issues like domestic violence, dowry and female infanticide. Training will be imparted to all the women wing stake office bearers on how to make women aware of their legal rights, on organizing basic medical camps, self defence training and other related initiatives.
