Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal addressed a rally at the Ramlila Maidan in Delhi to get the support of autorickshaw drivers.

Arvind Kejriwal told a rally of autorickshaw drivers to do a sting if any policeman demands money or issues an illegal challan. The AAP also announced a helpline number (85888-33553) for autorickshaw drivers to lodge their grievances against the authorities.

Arvind Kejriwal said: “Auto drivers end up paying Rs. 5,000-10,000 per month in bribe. During my 49 day tenure, Aam Aadmi Party had stopped officers taking a bribe and corruption was reduced.”

Kejriwal criticized the BJP and Congress of “not having any intention” to resolve people’s problems in the national capital.

The Aam Aadmi Party will hold another rally on August 3 to test its support base. The Aug 3 rally at Jantar Mantar is scheduled to protest against President’s Rule in the national capital and for dissolution of the Delhi assembly.
