Arvind Kejriwal appeals people of Delhi to join protest from 11am on Monday if police officials not suspended

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday met Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde to discuss suspension of the three SHO’s and two ACPs. Mr. Shinde said that he will look and examine the demands of Kejriwal. Arvind Kejriwal and his ministers have threatened to hold protest outside the Home Minister’s office if action was not taken against three SHOs and two ACPs. Arvind Kejriwal has also appealed to people of Delhi to join him in the protest.

“We will sit on dharna outside the home minister’s office from 11am on Monday if our demand for suspension of police officials is not met,” Manish Sisodia said. Manish Sisodia demanded that the Home Minister bring the Delhi Police under the control of the Delhi Government.

In a TV show “Aap Ki Adalat” hosted by Rajat Sharma, AAP MLA Vinod Kumar Binny said that he suspects there is secret deal involved between Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and Congress to stay in power. Earlier, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Vinod Kumar Binny described Delhi Chief Minister and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal as a dictator and an opportunist. Binny accused AAP of cheating the people of Delhi.

The Aam Aadmi Party on Friday issued a show-cause notice to its MLA Vinod Kumar Binny for defaming Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and the party leadership. The party has asked Mr. Binny to respond by 5 p.m. on Saturday.

“The party has issued a show-cause notice to Mr. Binny for violating party rules under section 6-1-a of the party constitution. He has been asked to respond to the show-cause notice and give his reply to the party’s national secretary, Pankaj Gupta,” AAP volunteer and media coordinator Deepak Vajpayee said.

Meanwhile, Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal may shift to a 3 BHK plus study room flat located on Tilak Lane in Lutyens’ Delhi.
