Arvind Kejriwal hit out at Rahul Gandhi

By on September 27, 2013

Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Friday tore into the government’s ordinance to protect convicted MPs/MLAs from immediate disqualification, expressing his dissent over the ordinance. “My opinion of the Ordinance is that it is completely nonsense and should be torn up and thrown away.”  Rahul said

Arvind Kejriwal hit out at Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi for publicly opposing the ordinance. Arvind Kejriwal said that Rahul Gandhi thinks people of this country are fools. Brings the ordinance himself, and then tears it up himself. Rahul says tear up and throw away this ordinance. We say, throw away the leaders or party who brought this ordinance

Arvind Kejriwal tweeted: “Rahul Gandhi sochte hain iss desk ke sab log bewakoof hain. Khud hi ordinance laate ho, khud hi faadte ho. Rahul Gandhi kehte h adhyadesh ko faad kr fenko. Hum kehte h es adhyades ko lane wale netao or party ko ukhhad fenko” .

Manish Sisodia said that the appearance of Rahul Gandhi was pre-planned and that he could just say ‘The poster was torn and the joker emerged’.

Social activist Kiran Bedi tweeted: “Its embarrassing to see the considered bright/brilliant passionately defend decisions of their party until a Yuvraj comes and overturns them”.

    Advantage Rahul ?

When Rahul Gandhi meets Prime Minister Man Mohan Singh today , we will know who wins the first round
After a lapse of some 66 years , another Gandhi has staked his career and taken a principled stand in the matter of criminally convicted legislators
May be , earlier he failed to convince the Old Guards
May be the Coalition Dharma weighed him down
May be mother Sonia miserably failed to judge people’s mood
Now the chips are down !
And the outcome of this meeting will reveal , either the ugly face of India’s political past or the beautiful face of a new and youthful future
But even if Rahul wins this round , there are many more waiting to be won , before 2014 elections
A few of these are :

 Coverage of political parties under RTI

     Electoral Reforms Bill

     Women’s Representation Bill

 Jan Lok Pal Bill …. etc

Political future of Congress in 2014 elections will get decided by Rahul winning these rounds as well
If Rahul continues to display the same “ Courage of Conviction “ in these rounds , he may still succeed in stealing the thunder of Narendra Modi !
Today , a billion Indians will be watching the TV for “ Breaking the News “ !
