Arvind Kejriwal Oath Statement

This oath was not taken by Arvind Kejriwal and the six ministers. The people of Delhi have taken the oath as chief minister.

It is a historic day and a victory for the common man today. We have shown that one can contest and win elections honestly. This is a miracle we achieved. I want to thank Ishwar, Allah and Wahe Guru. We should not turn arrogant, we rose to break arrogance of parties, tomorrow there should not be another party to break our arrogance.

The real fight cannot be fought by Kejriwal alone. People of Delhi will run the government. But I have full confidence that if 1.5 crore of people unite then we can get rid of corruption from Delhi.

We don’t have solution to all problems. We do not have any magic wand. But we have full confidence that if the people of Delhi unite then we can get rid of all problems.

Let us swear that we will never seek nor offer a bribe. We will provide one phone number to all the people and you can register complaint about anyone who demands bribe , inform us on our number, we will catch the culprit together.

I am sure in the next five years, Delhi will become a ‘sone ki chidiya’. Anna Hazare told me politics is a filth, but I used to tell him we have to enter this filth to clean it.
