Arvind Kejriwal replied to Election Commission notice

The EC had issued a notice to Kejriwal for asking Muslim electors to vote on religious grounds. EC asked Kejriwal to reply to the notice by 11 am Nov 27.

The Election Commission (EC) Monday gave two more days to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal to reply to its notice for Model Code violation.

Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday replied to the Election Commission notice. Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday submitted a 37-page reply to the Election Commission.

Kejriwal has given examples of the past when similar appeals were made by other political parties which were not considered as a violation of the poll code.

Meanwhile, Delhi Court will hear AAP plea on Jan 25 2014. The plea is filed against the CEO of’Media Sarkar’ for releasing a “doctored” video allegedly showing some party candidates accepting funds through illegal means.
