Arvind Kejriwal said that protest is not against the Constitution, and that the imposition of Sec 144 is against the Constitution. “Some people said that I worked against the Constitution. I re-read it. I couldn’t find anywhere where it says that a CM can’t hold a dharna,” he said. Kejriwal also accused media of getting paid to defame AAP.

A FIR was lodged against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for violating Section 144 during dharna demonstration outside Rail Bhavan in which around 31 people were injured.

Corruption will not be tolerated. The Jan Lokpal Bill promises strict action against people who indulge in corruption. The corrupt person will lose his job and will also be sent to prison if found guilty. The corruption in the capital has not been eradicated, but the corruption is reduced by 20 to 30%. The security of women in the national capital is “highly compromised. The government has formed a committee under the Chief Secretary for the formation of ‘Mahila Suraksha Dal’ in the city.
The committee, comprising retired army personnel and home guards, will ensure protection and security to women. The committee under the chief secretary will make provisions to ensure that rapists are sent to jail within 3 to 6 months.”
