Arvind Kejriwal held a press conference in the capital as Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) completes a month in power in Delhi. He said AAP government has reduced corruption and, Jan Lokpal Bill will be approved within 10 days by the Assembly.

In the press conference of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Asif Mohammed Khan, MLA from Okhla constituency, barged into the press conference at Delhi Secretariat and started shouting slogans against Aam Aadmi Party, while demanding a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the 2008 Batla House encounter. Asif Khan told reporters that Kejriwal is a liar, cheat and biased against Muslims.

MLA Asif Khan accused Arvind Kejriwal has made false pre-poll promises and has betrayed the people of Delhi. Khan said that AAP had promised in its manifesto to probe Batla House encounter. “Why not AAP is forming SIT for Batla House encounter. I won’t support AAP government in the House. Congress should also withdraw support to Aam Aadmi Party”, Asif Khan said.

Arvind Kejriwal said court has already given its verdict in the case and, he respects the court decision. Kejriwal said “We have not promised SIT for Batla House encounter in our manifesto and therefore, we are not appointing any SIT into the case.”
