Decision on free water expected today

The Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is suffering from high fever and severe diarrhea and will not attend office today.

“Running 102 fever since yesterday. Severe loose motions. Sad that i won’t be able to attend office today. It was so important to attend office today. We had planned the water announcement. God, bahut galat time par bimaar kiya”, Arvind Kejriwal tweeted on Monday.

Arvind Kejriwal expresed his unhappiness over not being able to attend the meeting with the Delhi Jal Board. Doctor Vipin Mittal advised Arvind Kejriwal to take complete rest due to ill health.

AAP had assured people on providing 700 litres of free water daily to each household and with a reduction by 50 per cent in power tariffs in the capital. The decision on providing free water to the people of Delhi can be announce from Arvind Kejriwal’s residence.

Meanwhile, Kejriwal told the people who had gathered at his residence with their complaints that he would accept them only after a system was in place.

“I don’t want to give you false assurances. I will take the application when we put a system in place to resolve the problems. We have just assumed power. It will take us sometime, seven to 10 days to put a system in place to resolve your problems”, Kejriwal said.
