Aam Aadmi Party MLA Vinod Kumar Binny called off his indefinite hunger strike against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his ministers. Vinod Kumar Binny said that Anna Hazare advised him to give more time to Arvind Kejriwal and the AAP government.

Binny ended his hunger strike and protest within five hours. He warned AAP government to launch a major stir if AAP government will not fulfill its pre-poll promises within ten days.

Earlier, Binny was expelled from AAP following a decision by the AAP’s disciplinary committee. MLA Vinod Kumar Binny met the Delhi Lt Governor to take up issues which have not been addressed by the Arvind Kejriwal government and demand action against controversial Law Minister Somnath Bharti.

Arvind Kejriwal said “We do not have to do the politics of saving the government and let him do what he {binny} has to. None of the governments have done as much work as our government has done in one month.”

Meanwhile, Senior party leader Gopal Rai said on Monday that around 98 lakh people have joined the party from all over the country. He further said that 76 lakh people have joined the party through the form registration service, seven lakh people through the online service, five lakh through SMS and 10 lakh by “missed calls”.
