Former Delhi deputy speaker Fateh Singh joined Aam Aadmi Party
Former BJP MLA and deputy speaker of the Delhi Legislative Assembly Fateh Singh joined Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Fateh Singh was the deputy speaker of Delhi Legislative Assembly from 1993-1998.
At a rally in Shahdara, AAP announced the Singh’s entry in the party. Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal was also present in the rally. Along with Singh, the three other BJP members joined AAP are Prem Chand Gupta, Dharmendra Gupta and Satpal Yadav.
Speaking at the rally, Arvind Kejriwal said that AAP will form a committee to investigate the 1984 anti-Sikh riots. He further said that Aam Aadmi Party will provide free lifeline water and 50% reduction in electricity bills for the people of Delhi.
AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal said “I will not repeat the mistake and will not resign if AAP returns to power.”
